The Lega Serie A have accepted Fiorentina’s request to continue using the captain’s armband of the late Captain Davide Astori for the 2019-2020 campaign. Fiorentina made the announcement on Wednesday 14 August 2019.
Fiorentina captain German Pezzella will keep wearing his Astori armband featuring the initials DA and the number 13, which the defender wore during his time as a Fiorentina player. Astori passed away in March 2018.
