MILAN-LIVERPOOL, COACH INZAGHI: “I want to see a positive reaction from the players”

< ![CDATA[MILAN – Please read below what coach Filippo Inzaghi said in his press conference ahead of Milan-Liverpool today in the Guinness International Champions Cup in Charlotte, USA:"It’s a great stadium and there will be a brilliant atmosphere. Let’s hope we have a good game. I’m evaluating the fitness of the players. I can’t let all of the international players play. I will definitely play De Sciglio and Abate. Balotelli will play one half I think and maybe I’ll ask Muntari and Essien to sacrifice themselves. I don’t think Zapata will feature in the match because he’s only just arrived.I have beautiful memories of the Liverpool match after the brace in the 2007 final. It’s the first time that I face Liverpool again. Now that I’m the coach, it will be brilliant to face such a strong side. I hope however that we have a good game. We’ve prepared well and I want to see a positive reaction from the players. There’s a lot of respect within the group and the players are following us. We need to have patience as last year we came eighth and we can’t be at the same level of the stronger sides. Our main objective is to be ready on the 31st of August. We’ll definitely see a different Milan side by that date."]]>
