MILAN – There is a fantastic interview with Kurt Hamrin in today’s Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica. Hamrin speaks about his years with the rossoneri jersey from 1967 to 1969 in which he won 1 Scudetto, 1 European Cup and 1 Cup Winners Cup. Here is an extract from that interview with the Swedish star’s comments on his coach at the time Nereo Rocco:“He used the senior players for advice. He used to say that he couldn’t see everything from the touch-line and asked us to make the necessary changes and adjustments on the pitch. At the end of the day, the responsibility is mine he would say.”
