MILAN – Philippe Mexes has been speaking to Milan Channel. The defender said:

“It has been four years wearing the Milan shirt so time passes. Now I am just thinking of getting points for Milan. It will be great to play against Roma. They are playing for second place and we are playing to get as many points as possible and we have to win at all costs. We have to show the same spirit as we did at Napoli where we went 60 minutes without conceding a goal despite the fact that we were a man down after thirty seconds and we had to face a penalty. It is very delicate but it cannot get any worse and now we have to take what was good from Napoli and go forward. We had the right spirit in that situation and with that sort of spirit we can get a few more points. We need the whole team working together. I have been here for four years and I have played with some great players and they have gone. It is not always easy to keep the same spirit and the same professional approach but we need everyone to do that and we have the experienced like Nigel De Jong, Bonera but we need everyone together. You cannot win things if you are not united and we have to show that spirit we showed at Napoli and we have to battle for a few more points to finish the season the way we started it.”
