INZAGHI: “It’s only right to take part. You have to try and take these things on with a smile.”

MILAN – Filippo Inzaghi is at the Cimiano Sports Centre as part of the third edition of the University League of Milan. The 7-a-side football tournament uses sport for charitable causes and in fact all of the funds raised will go to the UNA Charity, an association that helps child cancer patients, as well as moral and material assistance to the families.

Commenting at the event, the Milan coach said: “You have to try and take these things on with a smile. I am very happy to be here, it’s a nice thing to be amongst these children that want to have fun and their families. It’s normal my appearance, when you can, it’s right to take part at these events. I am pleased to be here. When you are amongst children, kids, sport, there are real life values. When I can, I try and be present because children remain a beautiful part of life. I sense the enthusiasm from the people every day. Let’s move forwards.”

Ex-Milan Gino Maldera is also present.
