FILIPPO GALLI TO MILAN CHANNEL: THE YOUNGSTERS ARE DOING WELL

< ![CDATA[MILAN - Filippo Galli, the man in charge of the Milan youth sector, spoke exclusively to Milan Channel last night."We are happy with what the lads have doen so far, those that have been training with the first team. Pippo Inzaghi knows them well and the aim is to build the future around them. This isn't real football yet but they have responded very well and that is a great start. Mastour and Modic are the ones that instantly catch the eye, even Mastelli although he isn't as technically gifted but he is fantastic and from a human point of view he is at the top. There has to be discipline with these young players, they must have a clear idea about their game and the rules. We still have a long way to go as a youth sector bubt we have to keep rowing in the right direction. We always rely on help from everyone, even the parents because they are invaluable for the growth of these players. Niang creates a lot and I hope that with the help of Pippo he can make the leap forward. Mastour has the mental strenght to handle the pressure of the media but he still needs to be protected by us adults, he is still only 16 and he could suffer from a physical point of view. He can certainly grow from a physical point of view and to use his ability to attack the space where opponents cannot arrive. The Berretti is a very important category and they will train at Milanello alongside the Primavera team. Cristian Brocchi is very keen, he has done the course at Coverciano and haf followed the Allievi I and II and he is testing out a new method of work that we started testing last year and in which we believe in strongly. I wish all the coaches of the youth teams a lot of luck for the new season."]]>
