The big clash!  Napoli failing the test to pass at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.   The emotional match for the ex Real Madrid players  Raul Albiol and Jose Callejon now playing for Napoli.   The ex-Napoli player Diego Armando Maradona ruling for Napoli watching the game from the Tribune.   A visitor of honor is also Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal a strong Real Madrid fan.   The second leg will be played a the San Paolo Stadium on Tuesday 7 March.  The qualification for the Champions League Quarterfinal still alive.

It’s Napoli to open the score in the 8th minute!   Wow, super.  Forward Lorenzo Insigne defeating Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.    The assist is by Captain Marek Hamsik.  Insigne has scored his first Champions League goal since November 2013 in the game against Borussia Dortmund!   The last time that an Italian player scored at the Bernabeu was former Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo in 2009.

Mamma mia!!!!!  Uffaaaaa   Real Madrid equalizing the score in the 19th minute.   Karim Benzema defeating Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina with a headed shot remaining on the ground on his attempt to save.  The action started with the cross by Daniel Carbajal and Napoli defender Raul Albiol not jumping high enough to clear the ball while  Benzema jumping higher for the final goal.  It’s the 51st goal in Champions League by Benzema.

Oh my gosh!   Real Madrid taking the lead in the 49th minute.   Forward Cristiano Ronaldo slots the ball back to Tony Kroos delivering a right footed shot to defeat goalkeeper Pepe Reina in the bottom right corner.   It’s  the first goal by Kroos with Real Madrid in Champions League.

What!!!!!!  Real Madrid now ruling at the Bernabeu with a super goal in the 54th minute by Casemiro kicking the ball on their with a right footed shot.

UUFFFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA   In the 80th minute, Jose Callejon right footed shot goal is ruled out for offside…..
