ATALANTA IN VETTA AL CAMPIONATO

Atalanta prima in classifica con 13 punti dopo la quinta giornata di Serie A TIM, evento che non era mai successo nella storia dei bergamaschi a questo punto del campionato. I bergamaschi passano 2 – 0 allo U-Power Stadium di Monza e ancora una volta mantengono inviolata la propria porta in trasferta (in totale ne ha subiti solo 2, eguagliato il record del 1964/1965).

Pronti via e il Monza mostra la sua decisione a muovere la classifica, andando vicino al gol con Caprari e Sensi, sui quali si mostra reattivo Musso. Piano piano gli ospiti prendono le misure e non corrono altri pericoli, sfiodando anzi a loro volta la rete sul finire di tempo con Toloi. A inizio ripresa spunto sulla fascia di Hojlund, che va via al suo uomo e da posizione defilata calcia violentemente verso la porta monzese, trovando il piede di Marì e il palo esterno a salvare Di Gregorio. Poco dopo il n. 17 di Gasperini trova il gol del vantaggio, andando a deviare in porta in scivolata un preciso traversone di Lookman. Passano 8 minuti e lo stesso Lookman provoca l’autorete di Marlon, che interviene in scivolata deviando nella propria porta il retropassaggio dalla linea di fondo dell’avversario. Nei restanti minuti l’Atalanta sfiora il tris con Scalvini e poi controlla il risultato che la proietta da sola in testa alla Serie A TIM.

Torino win the Serie A Week 5 game against Lecce on Monday 5 September 2022 at the Olimpico di Torino Stadium in Turin, Italy.  Third consecutive goal for the former West Ham Nikola Vlašić scoring the only goal. Torino reached 10 points and climbed from the 9th to the 4th position being -3 from the leaders Atalanta with 13. Lecce remains at 2, still lacking in victories in the Serie A since their promotion from Serie B.

A flop for Lecce who had won their last two matches against Torino in Serie A (4-0 at Via del Mare, on February 2, 2020, and 2-1 at Olimpico Grande Torino, on September 16, 2019) and have never achieved three wins. in a row against the grenades in the top flight.

Torino opened the score in the 40th minute. Nikola Vlašić defeated Lecce goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone with a left footed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Mërgim Vojvoda.
