🏆👉 Juventus lost the Champions League Group Stage – Group H Matchday 4 game against Maccabi Haifa at the Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa, Israel. Sadly, it is a sour result for Juventus that is no longer able to recover and collects another hard defeat, this one matured after Omer Atzili’s brace in the first half. Juventus and Maccabi Haifa are now paired at 3 points after 4 matches and, for the Bianconeri, the qualification mission has become practically impossible. In the next round of Group H, Juventus will fly to Portugal to challenge Benfica, while Maccabi Haifa will play away against PSG.

Not a good start! Maccabi Haifa opened the score in the 7th minute. Omer Atzili defeated Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny with a headed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Pierre Cornud.

CASINI: “BENE SU LICENZE NAZIONALI. LA SERIE A VUOLE LE RIFORME”

“Siamo soddisfatti, ma il lavoro da fare per rinnovare il calcio italiano è ancora tanto e la Serie A certamente non si tirerà indietro”. 
Così Lorenzo Casini, presidente della Lega Serie A, al termine del Consiglio federale di oggi. “Ringrazio il Presidente Gravina perché sulle licenze nazionali si sta andando verso la direzione chiesta dalla Serie A, ossia l’allineamento del sistema italiano alle licenze Uefa. Il nuovo documento proposto dalla Figc, che ha anche tolto l’indice di liquidità come criterio di ammissione, è un’ottima base su cui lavoreremo tutti insieme nelle prossime settimane, nel comune intento di rendere il sistema più sano e sostenibile sotto il profilo economico-finanziario.
Per quanto riguarda le riforme, si sta andando verso un percorso condiviso tra Lega e Federazione che tenga conto dell’intero sistema calcistico, un approccio di cui mi sono sempre fatto promotore in questi mesi, in linea con quanto avviene anche nelle principali leghe europee, come in Francia, Germania, Inghilterra e Spagna. 
Nei prossimi mesi, da un lato, noi leghe lavoreremo insieme per una riforma dell’intero sistema. Dall’altro lato, esamineremo con attenzione la proposta della Figc, che ancora non abbiamo ricevuto e dovremmo avere nei prossimi giorni, anche per trarre spunti e trovare l’intesa che giustamente richiede lo Statuto federale, ispirato a principi di democrazia e rappresentatività del Coni e della Carta olimpica.”
