AS Roma keeping up the race for the Scudetto claiming this away victory reaching 53 points. Crotone succumbing to the pressure to win the home game. Crotone winning only 3 games this season while losing 17 games seeing their chances to remain in Serie A next season seeming a mirage.
Roma had the chance to open the score in the 17th minute after Referee Carmine Russo gave a penalty. The penalty was conceded by Crotone defender Gianmarco Ferrari following a foul on Roma midfielder Mohamed Salah. The bad moment for Roma when forward Edin Dzeko failed to convert the penalty missing the target to the left.
The situation changing. It is AS Roma to open the score in the 40th minute. Midfielder Radja Nainggolan defeating Crotone goalkeeper Alex Cordaz with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner. The assist is by Mohamed Salah.
