A positive note for Inter to end the Europa League  Group Stage with a victory being  already eliminated before the game.  Inter, despite the victory, finished in the last position of the Group with 6 points in Group K and a negative goal difference of -4.  The negative aspect of the match is the protest of the Ultras upset with Inter’s bad performance this season not only in Europa League, but also in the Serie A leaving the Curva Nord section empty. Inter fans contesting the team displaying a big banner in the second ring reading: “4 sconfitte in 5 partite…Questo è quello che vi meritate per il vostro impegno indecoroso…Vergognatevi!”  (Translation: “Four defeats in five games…that’s all you deserve for your unseemly efforts….shame on you!”)
