The Italian Referee Association (AIA) has designated Referee Paolo Silvio Mazzoleni from the section of Bergamo to direct the Serie A Week 10 game Genoa vs Napoli on Wednesday 25 October 2017 at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium in Genova, Italy at 20:45.
Referee Mazzoleni will be assisted by Fabiano Preti from the section of Mantova and Giacomo Paganessi from the section of Bergamo. The fourth official will be Illuzzi. The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) will be Daniele Doveri from the section of Roma 1 and the assistant VAR will be Abbattista.
- Referee Paolo Silvio Mazzoleni, 43, is in his 14th season officiating in Italy’s top two tiers (Serie A and Serie B). Mazzoleni made his Serie A debut in 3-1 win for Lazio over Treviso on 18 September 2005 and has overseen 175 games in Serie A and 78 in Serie B.
