Sassuolo with a superb victory winning their third consecutive game.  A flop for Inter who lost the first position last week and went down to the third position.  The challenge is now for Inter to archive this defeat to get back to the winning road and keep up the race for the Scudetto.

It is Sassuolo to open the score in the 34th minute.  Diego Falcinelli defeating Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic from close range with a headed shot in the  top left corner. The assist is by Matteo Politano with a cross.

Inter failing to level the score.  In the 48th minute, Referee Doveri giving a penalty to Inter conceded by Sassuolo defender Francesco Acerbi after a hand ball in the penalty area.   Incredible so, Inter forward Mauro Icardi failing to convert the penalty because Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli saved it!    Consigli going to the right side to save the right footed shot in the bottom left corner.  Icardi in total disbelief!
