Sassuolo failing to win the home game winning only 2 games this season compared to AC Milan winning 6 games.  Despite this away victory, pressure is more for AC Milan because their objective to make it to the Champions League next season is getting complicated.  Though, these 3 points help Milan jump from the 9th to the 7th position.   The objective is to make it to the top 3 positions.

It is AC Milan to open the score in the 40th minute following a corner conceded by Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli. Defender Alessio Romagnoli defeating goalkeeper Consigli from close range with a headed shot in the top right corner. The assist is by Hakan Calhanoglu with a cross.
