Sampdoria with a superb victory crushing Crotone with an astonishing 5-0.  Sampdoria  reaching now 17 points having a +11 points advantage over Crotone with 6 points.  Sampdoria winning 5 games this season while Crotone winning only 1.  It’s a wake up call for Crotone to start winning to avoid falling down in the relegation zone.   Sampdoria dreaming to climb towards the top 5 positions of the Serie A.

A super early start for Sampdoria opening the score in the 3rd minute.  It is the ex-Crotone player defender Gianmarco Ferrari to defeat Crotone goalkeeper Alex Cordaz with a headed shot in the high center.  The assist is by Lucas Torreira.

Party is on at the Ferraris.  Referee Calvarese giving a penalty to Sampdoria in the 10th minute conceded by Zapata after a foul on Sampdoria forward Fabio Quagliarella inside the penalty box.  Quagliarella converts the penalty with a right footed shot inthe bottom left corner leaving goalkeeper Cordaz without hope… the ball inside the net!

Crotone falling! Sampdoria just having a ride, a rocking party at the Ferraris delighting their fans. In the 38th minute, there is the goal by Gianluca Caprari from close range with a left footed shot in the bottom left corner.   The assist is by Duván Zapata.   Mamma mia…. what a headache for goalkeeper Cordaz and Crotone defense!

What a way to say “Here, I am.” Imagine, Dawid Kownacki replacing Gianluca Caprari in the 75th minute and not even a minute and BAMMMMMM scoring a goal! Yep, Kownacki defeating Cordaz with a right foote shot in the center. This is Kownacki’s 2nd goal for Sampdoria!
