Inter winning the Milan Derby – Derby della Madonnina after defeating AC Milan at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium. Inter claiming the full bragging rights to rule the City of Milan. A brilliant night for Argentinean forward Mauricio Icardi scoring a hat-trick. It is a historical derby for Icardi because he is the first player to score a hat-trick in the Derby della Madonnina since his compatriot Diego Milito did it in May 2012.

AC Milan failing big time to jump the winning bandwagon and losing points.   The victory keeps Inter in the second position with 22 points just -2 points below Napoli in the first position with 28 points.  AC Milan went down from the 7th to the 10th position remaining with 12 points a devastating -12 points below Napoli.

The magic moment for Inter starting in the 28th minute. Argentinean forward Mauro Icardi opening the score defeating AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner. The assist is by Antonio Candreva with a cross.
