A blow for Juventus! Atalanta stopping Juventus’ winning path after battling to get a draw. Juventus had won their first 6 games, but today, Atalanta said no more. Incredible so, Juventus who were leading with a 2-0 ended up with a 2-2 draw. It means that Napoli is now the only team winning all 7 games and being the sole leader of the Serie A with 21 points followed by Juventus and Inter with 19 points each. Atalanta went down to the 11th position with 9 points.
The sour note is for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala failing to convert the penalty which would have given Juve the victory. Brilliant save by Atalanta goalkeeper Berisha. A highlight of the match is also the record by defender Giorgio Chiellini becoming the 10th longest serving Juventus player with 441 appearances.
Congratulations to @chiellini who tonight becomes the 10th longest serving Bianconero ?⚫️⚪️#Chiellini441 pic.twitter.com/ATHHN2SI1w
