Status quo with this draw remain the same while for Roma it might be considered as a defeat.   The objective for the Roman gladiators was to win the game and shorten the gap with Juventus, yet, mission failed.   Roma also ended the game with 10 players since the 62nd minute after Referee Orsato gave the red card to defender Vasilis Torosidis for a second yellow card.

Juventus silenced the Olimpico Stadium in the 64th minute.  It is forward Carlos Tevez to defeated Roma goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis with a direct right footed free kick in the bottom left corner.  Tevez scoring his 15th goal this season becoming the sole leader in the Top Scorer Table.

Roma saving at least 1 point.  In the 78th minute, midfieler Seydou Keita defeating Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon with a headed shot in the center.
