Italy made it!   Mission accomplished and the second position is secured after defeating Albania on Monday 9 October 2017.   The UEFA European Qualification are complete and after Matchday 10, Italy will play the play-off.

  • The Play-off draw  will be on 17 October. Games 9–11 and 12–14 November

Italy scored the only goal of the match in the 73rd minute.  It is Antonio Candreva to secure the victory defeating Albania goalkeeper Etrit Berisha with a right footed shot from the right side of the six yard box to the top left corner. Assisted by Leonardo Spinazzola with a cross.
