Second training camp for emerging players: Lapadula the oldest, Locatelli the youngest

After some warm-up drills, the players underwent tactical work. The Spal defender Kevin Bonifazi trained separately after being one of the best performers alongside his teammate Alex Meret in the Serie B match away at Verona. At 15:00 CEST, the players will train for a second time behind closed doors.

32 players have taken part in the training camps so far since November. There are ten new players compared to last time with Sassuolo players featuring after they were previously unavailable due to Europa League commitments. The average age this time is 21.9 compared to 22.8 from last time. The oldest player is AC Milan’s Gianluca Lapadula (27) while the youngest is Manuel Locatelli (19 and one month).
