Thanks for visiting my blog.  Here is the 2016 – 2017 Italian Serie A Standing / Serie A Table. The season will end on Sunday 28 May 2017.  Juventus won the 2016 Scudetto winning their 5th consecutive one.

  • Here is the current situation, up to Serie A Week 25 the sole leader of the Serie A is Juventus with 63 points and a positive goal difference of +36.   The top scorer is  Juventus forward Gonzalo Higuaín and AS Roma forward Edin Dzeko with 19 goals each.

The Roman gladiators living a great moment highly motivated after defeating in Europa League Villarreal with a 0-4 in Spain.   Roma keeping up the race for the Scudetto.

It’s AS Roma to open the score in the 10th minute.  Forward Edin Dzeko defeating Torino goalkeeper Joe Hart with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.   The assist is by midfielder Radja Nainggolan. This is the 19th goal of the season by Dzeko reaching now Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain with 19 goals each as top scorers of the Serie A up to Week 25.

Torino just collapsing at the Olimpico!    Roma scoring the third goal of the match following a corner conceded by Torino defender  Lorenzo De Silvestri.  In the 65th minute, it is midfielder Leandro Paredes to defeat goalkeeper Hart with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.

Torino shortening the distance in the 84th minute.  The honor goal is by Argentinean forward Maxi López defeating AS Roma goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner.

Pescara in the last position of the Serie A winning only 1 game this season.  The crude reality is that relegation to the Serie B next season is almost a reality.

It is Torino to open the score with an amazing fast goal in the 2nd minute.  It is forward Iago Falque to defeat from close range Pescara goalkeeper Albano Bizzarri with a left footed shot in the high center.  The headed assist is by Marco Benassi.

Torino just flying and scoring the second goal of the match in the 9th minute.   Surely, Torino seeming determined to claim this victory to delight their fans.  It is Arlind Ajeti to score delivering a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.

Pescara in deep problem already conceding three goals in less than 20 minutes!   In the 15th minute, there it is Torino increasing the score following a fast break with forward Andrea Belotti defeating goalkeeper Bizzarri with a right footed in the bottom right corner. The assist is by Joel Obi.  It’s the 16th goal of the season by Belotti.
