I am just speechless watching beloved Italy and Juventus Captain Gianluigi Buffon with his clear sadness after losing the Champions League Final against Real Madrid on Saturday 3 June 2017. Buffon almost in tears …. I personally salute this great legend, our beloved Buffon. We love him in good or bad times. Buffon is a true champion and also admit that Real Madrid played better and deserved the victory.

Good morning, my friends! Well, it’s not really a good morning for Italian football fans. I am so sad checking up the Italian newspapers reminding us that Juventus lost the Champions League Final against Real Madrid. It’s so painful to see the headlines, the photos…. Nevertheless, a bit of joy because the Ex-Juventus player Zinedine Zidane now coaching Real Madrid is enjoying his victory with his team. I do like the mutual respect shown between Buffon and Zidane.

Here are the front pages from the Italian newspapers La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport, and Tutto Sport, Sunday 4 June 2017.

Simply put, like it or not, Real Madrid won convincingly under the leadership of the great Cristiano Ronaldo not missing the big appointment while our Higuain and Dybala not appearing…..

It’s just breathtaking to see these 2 Juventus legend.  Juventus Captain Gianluigi Buffon and his ex-teammate Zinedine Zidane now coaching Real Madrid.   Mutual respect ….. You bet it must be painful for Buffon having lost the Champions League Final. Yet, friendship and respect continue after the game.  Zidane played for Juventus from 1996–2001.

It’s a tough defeat to swallow. Juventus played well in the first half, but in the second half the whole tune changed. I agree with Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri that Juventus should have battled after the 2nd goal. Something went wrong…..
