The race for a spot in the Europa League next season is still open with 4 teams. The direct qualification for the Europa League are the 4th and 5th position while the 6th position will have to go for the playoff.   Lazio already grabbed their spot in the Europa League chances now is for the 6th place with Atalanta, AC Milan and Fiorentina battling to grab the spot.

The expectation also in the relegation zone. Teams to be relegated to the Serie B are the last 3 positions. For the moment, Empoli is saved. Yet, everything could change in these last rounds. Crotone and Palermo can dream with salvation.  Pescara is already relegated to the Serie B.   Palermo will need to defeat Genoa at the Renzo Barbera Stadium to grab the 3 points and “mathematically speaking” will have chance for salvation in case of Crotone losing against Udinese.    If Palermo lose the game, they will be relegated to the Serie B because there are only 2 more games to end the season.
