Good morning my friends! Grabbing my cup of Cappuccino while checking the Italian newspapers. Here are the front pages of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport, and TuttoSport, Thursday 18 May 2017.

It’s a lovely day for Juventus fans. Definitely,the headlines giving priority to Juventus celebrating the first trophy of the season. Juventus won the 2017 Coppa Italia after defeating Lazio in the Final with a 2-0 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium. It is party time in Turin with the fans celebrating this victory which for them it is only the first one out of the three to conquer. The next two trophies are the Scudetto and the Champions League.

Juventus win the Coppa Italia for the 3rd consecutive time after defeating Lazio on Wednesday 17 May 2017 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy at 21:00.   Juventus  had won 12 Coppa Italia and the last three on 2014-2015, 2015 – 2016, and 2016 – 2017.

 

It is Juventus to open the score in the 11th minute with defender Dani Alves defeating Lazio goalkeeper Strakosha in the far post. The assist is by Alex Sandro.

Lazio making the first forced substitution in the 21st minute. Stefan Radu replacing injured Marco Parolo.

Juventus dominating and far from Lazio reacting, Juventus increasing the score! In the 24th minute, defender Leonardo Bonucci scoring the second goal of the match. The assist is again by Alex Sandro.

Samba time!!! The Brazilians rocking with Juventus with defender Alex Sandro providing the two assists for the goals and Alves with the opener goal.
