“I’m very happy because this week I insisted on the importance of a good start and in the first 20 minutes we pressed high up. I think it’s been our best match, it gives me lots of hope, this side is continuing to grow. Abbiati went into the match after a positive period, I think he deserved to play, he had a brilliant match. I’ve known him for years, he deserves all the compliments. Honda gives great performances, it’s rare that he makes a mistake in front of goal, he’s very unselfish and he deserves all the praise he is receiving. We study certain plays at Milanello and I am happy that they worked for the goals, this is satisfying for the coach. I’m happy to see the team following myself and the coaching staff. The plays we practiced paid off and this will help the side see that we’re working well.”
