The last time Milan defeated Lazio in Coppa Italia was in January 2012.
First yellow card of the match is for Lazio defender Lorik Cana in the 40th minute after a foul on AC Milan forward Alessio Cerci.
Things complicating for Lazio as Referee Rocchi gives a second yellow card to defender Cana in the 45th minute making it an automatic Red Card. Lazio remain with 10 players.
Referee Rocchi ruled out a goal by AC Milan forward Giampaolo Pazzini in the 69th minute for a handball.
