I woke up early to follow the match with my big cup of cappuccino. Already securing Juventus the 3rd position and Sampdoria out of the battle for the 4th position to guarantee a spot in the preliminaries of the UEFA Champions League, the main attraction is for Juventus strikers Alessandro Del Piero and David Trezeguet! Scoring today could see them as the Serie A Top Scorers! The battle is between Del Piero, Trezeguet and Genoa striker Marco Borriello with 19 goals each.

What a moment! It is the last match for Juventus who deserves a standing ovation for their well done job after coming back from the Serie B! I love it! I told since the beginning of the Season that Juventus was going to make a difference in the Serie A and they did not disappoint me at all! Though, I am a Milan fan, I also like Juventus and my heart explodes of joy to see Del Piero and Trezeguet shining in glory!
Referee Valeri whistles the beginning of the match and my friends this is party time!
Imagine just in the very first minutes and Trezeguet already showing he wants to be the CAPOCANONIERE!!!
In the first minute, yes you are reading right, in the very first minute, Trezeguet had the chance to score after getting an assist by defender Zebina, such a bad luck that Trezegol missed when shooting from the center of the box sending the ball too high!!!!
My heart was pumping so hard for Trezegol!
In the 6th minute, Cristian Maggio concedes a corner for Juventus! Wow, big chance here. Great midfielder Pavel Nedved sends a beautiful pass to Juve flag and Captain Alessandro Del Piero who shoots from the center of the box directly to the goal blasting Sampdoria goalkeeper Mirante !!!!
Hip hip hurrah! With this goal DEL PIERO becomes the TOP SCORER with 20 goals! What a moment... all Juventus players gather around DEL PIERO to celebrate.
Sampdoria 0 - 1 FC Juventus
CLick the video to watch DEL PIERO scoring... superb! Pure glory!
Incredible, unbelievable! In the 15th minute, Referee Valeri grants a penalty to Juventus after Angelo Palombo commits a foul on Alessandro Del Piero in the penalty area! Then, instead of Del Piero taking the penalty spot, it is David Trezeguet! what a moment!
Get sets... ready, go... YES. YES, YES, and 100 times YES!!! Trezegol scores in the 16th minute shooting directly to the center blasting Sampdoria goalkeeper Mirante and seeing him again TIE as top scorers with his good buddy Alessandro Del Piero, both with 20 goals each.!
Sampdoria 0 - 2 FC Juventus

Come on Trezegol!!!!!!! Bravo!!!!! I am in heaven!!! I love it! Trezegol and Del Piero 20 goals each.
In the 22nd minute, a party moment for Sampdoria fans when Sampdoria midfielder Angelo Palombo sends an assist to the Beniamino and rebel boy Antonio Cassano! Wow, am I happy or what! I wanted to see Del Piero, Trezeguet and Cassano scores and there you go..... Cassano shoots rom the left side of the box to the top left corner blasting Juventus goalkeeper Emanuele Belardi!
Sampdoria 1 - 2 FC Juventus

In the 36th minute, Referee Valeri gives a yellow card to midfielder Cristian Maggio for a foul on Juventus midfielder Pavel Nedved. Hellooooo Palombo!
In the 38th minute, Sampdoria almost scored with Daniele Franceschini shooting from outside the box but was blocked!
A minute later, in the 39th minute, the moment of revenge! Sampdoria fans in total extasis when Cristian Maggio equalizes the score shooting from outside the box blasting Juventus goalkeeper Belardi not getting on time to save the ball in the bottom left corner.
Sampdoria 2 - 2 FC Juventus
Wow, unbelievable... in the 47th' minute, Referee Valleri grants a penalty to Sampdoria after Juve defender Giorgio Chiellini commits a foul on Emiliano Bonazzoli in the penalty area!!! Gee.... this I don't want... I rather have a draw than Sampdoria winning.
Time for Antonio Cassano to take the penalty spot! Ready, sets, shoot.... unbelievable!!! ONE on ONE and Cassano missed the penalty!! Great save by Juve goalkeeper Belardi who must have been praying Saint goalkeeper Gigi Buffon for guidance! Well done Belardi! Totally unbelievable from Cassano!!!

Well done Belardi!! Thumbs up! Great save!!!!!!
In the 65th minute, what a moment! Referee Valeri grants a penalty to Juventus after Sampdoria defender Pietro Accardi commits a foul on my Alessandro Del Piero!, Hey, don't hurt Del Piero, he is my untouchable! If Del Piero converts the penalty he will be the top scorer! wow.... come on DEL PIERO! Get sets, ready, breathe, shoot.... YES, YES, YES, YES, he did it!!!!!! Del Piero shoots to the bottom left corner blasting Sampdoria goalkeeper Mirante and he becomes the Serie A Top Scorer with 21 goals so far!!!!! Let's see if Trezegol score or Del Piero continue scoring...
Sampdoria 2 - 3 FC Juventus
Say what!!!!! No, what are you doing Ranieri!!!!! In the 71st minute, Juve Coach Claudio Ranieri substitutes Alessandro Del Piero and brings Marco Marchionni! No, I don't agree at all!!!! Del Piero could score more, is not granted that he is already the top scorer because Genoa striker Marco Borriello has 19 goals and can score tomorrow a doppietta! Oh no.... now I am upset with Ranieri! This is the last appearance from Del Piero for the season... and I hope Italian head coach Roberto Donadoni is looking because it will be unforgivable if he does not call Del Piero for the EURO 2008!
Now, here I agree! In the 76th minute, Sampdoria Coach Walter Mazzarri substitures Emiliano Bonazzoli and bring the "aeropianino" Vincenzo Montella! I love it! I hope Montella scores to see him celebrate with his trademark airplane style!
What was I saying????
In the 80th minute, the great duo! Antonio Cassano sends an assist to Vincenzo Montella who shoots from the center of the box to the bottom left corner blasting Juve goalkeeper Emanuele Belardi! Oh well, it is indeed party time for Sampdoria fans! I love this result... a draw for both teams to celebrate their excellent performance this year. ... there you go Montella with the airplane celebration... grande Montella! Love seeing you back in style!
Sampdoria 3 - 3 FC Juventus

Reeree Valeri whistles the end of the match! Great result! I love it! Wow, let me bring another cappuccino to celebrate!!!! My Alessandro Del Piero is so far the SERIE A TOP SCORER with 21 goals!!!! BRAVO!!!! Sei forte! It's party time for Juventus and Sampdoria! Well done! Juventus finished the season in the 3rd position with 74 points and Sampdoria with 62 points.
I am so happy for DEL PIERO! Ok, for lunch I will prepare my Pasta and open a Chianti bottle of wine to celebrate this partial leadership of DEL PIERO as the Capocanoniere... I hope he gets it. A standing ovation for Sampdoria and Juventus! Well done guys! I especially stand up for my great Alessandro Del Piero, you know how ardent I have been throughout the season supporting Del Piero, so allow me this moment of joy to applaud Del Piero with tears in my eyes, tears of joy!
Are you happy with the result, yes, no, and why?

Anna I am happy too for Del Piero! Man, you are right if Donadoni doesn't call him for the EURO 2008 it is for personal reasons because the man is rocking. What's your take?
Reply to this
I will personally go to Donadoni to question him on why he doesn't call DEL PIERO... he better call him because all ITALY will be against him if Del Piero doesn't go to the EURO 2008.
I love the result of the match. Standing ovations for both teams!
Let's wait tomorrow for Milan and Roma!

Anna I allow you this moment of happiness to celebrate Del Piero because I have never seen such a defender of Del Piero like you, what admires me is that you are a Milan fan and still goes for Del Piero ah, and for your saint goalkeeper Buffon.
It's a fair result and I hope tomorrow my Inter win the Scudetto, I know almost all of you guys here are for Roma

Mark, my friend, who cannot like Gigi Buffon? You know i am also a Milan fan but Buffon is a symbol and i am like Anna also admirer of the great technique from Del Piero.
You got one point right, almost all of us are for Roma, though, man, i am in shock to see Kenntak practically admitting Inter winning the Scudetto when he is a Roma fan.
What's your take?

Anna,i'm right behind you, alex should go to the euros.
Mark, every azzurri fan should love Gigi. he is a big part of italy winning the world cup.

Nina count me in too, I am for the man Del Piero. I agree with you that Buffon is a big part of Italy football and he breaks barrier like Maldini when it comes to fans, they are Italy's flags.
Forza Del Piero for Euro 2008!

Pierto,Couldn't have said it better, you are right , they ar italy's flags.you guys are awesome,i mean you, anna, and mark(eventhough he is an inter fan)since i'm new, can someone give me a preview of the blog's history?

Nina, Anna said it right, the blog is fun and we like sharing our interest for the Serie A. We had some tough times here but also nice moments when Milan and Inter fans joined to support for convenience, though during the Milan derby it was all war and I had to admit that Milan won fair and square.
Reply to this
Mark, say it one more time because it sounds music to my ears to hear an interisti admitting Milan won fair and square because we did it!

Pietro and Nina I join you guys to lift those 3 valuable Italian flags MALDINI, DEL PIERO, and BUFFON.
Hip hip hurrah for all three! Nina, here in the blog most are Milan and Roma fans and few like Mark and Hilda are Inter fans.
I started this blog in the beginning of this Season because I wanted to share my passion for the Serie A and Italian football with other fans like you. It's so fun to talk to other fans and even disagreeing at times or reaching to peace agreements sometimes when it is convenient for our respective teams.
One thing I like about the people commenting in the blog, is that although we cheer for different teams, we respect each other and defend our teams with our hearts.
Welcome Nina....

You are absolutely right Anna, and I think a lot of the credit goes to you because even though you are a Milan fan, you give your unbiased appreciation and attention for other teams, their players, and even their presidents (lol).respecting each other's opinion is a key to a fun, and civil dialogue. Thank you for giving all of us homeless seria A fans a home to live our passions and I say homeless because for me living in the United States and being a Calcio fan makes me almost feel like I’m out of place.Forza Anna, love you all.

Well said Nina, Forza Anna and let's keep our passion for il calcio italiano alive, let me emphasize it one more time FORZA INTER!!!!!

"let me emphasize it one more time FORZA INTER!!!!!"
Mark you are so funny. if we were all in san siro and the only people in stands were us from this blog, your voice would be the loudest, and you would be saying 10 forza inter for every 5 forza milan lol.

Nina I must tell you that I enjoy agreeing and disagreeing with all of you, that's the whole idea of being a fan, right?
For example, I know Mark and Hilda are INTERISTI and they will fight for their team while I am milanista and also fight for my team. We found a common agreement that in order for Inter to call themselves THE BEST TEAM OF ITALY, they got to beat Milan in International competitions like the Champions League where Inter usually gets eliminated while Milan usually arrives until the final.
With Suri, sometimes I disagree with her, especially on the issue of MATERAZZI ha ha ha ha... The ones closer to my thinking are Kenntak and Milan99, yet, still we also disagree on some issues ha ah ah... bottom line, LET'S KEEP THE BALL ROLLING.....

Time is running by guys and tension increases while Juventus already is done and celebrating their 3rd position!
Where is Juventino Tedesco and his comments????
Grande il mio Del Piero! Un vero campione! A great champion... so happy for this excellent performance from Juventus... I want to see a final between JUVE - MILAN in the Champs again like in 2003 where Milan won.

I was thinking about Juventino too, where is the guy? He must be celebrating at the pub maybe...
Reply to this
That's right guys, now that Juve finished their season in style we don't see the comments of Juventino Tedesco. Where are you man?
Reply to this
Maybe Juventino got drunk and cannot type his comments

Bravo per La Sampdoria...chi sa si nel futuro diventano grande come i giorni di Vierchowod, Pagliuca, Mancini e Vialli...
As for Del Piero, anyone (and I mean anyone) who has followed him at the international club level and National level knows he does not perform as well there as in Serie A...
He has had the problems of all the superstars in Italian soccer...too soft and self centered when young, only to blossom into solid and dependable players when older...Vialli had the problem, Baggio was a prima donna early on, and same with Del Piero...hopefully he can play like he did in Germany 2006, and not France 98, when he insisted on playing instead of Baggio, even though Baggio was carrying the team forward.
His ego was a problem...he didn't think of the team.
Ego has always been a problem in Italian Soccer...just look at Totti, or even Cassano.
Donadoni needs to let the players play more expressively and open...show their creative attacking styles...not so rigid and bland as with that idiot, Trapatoni.
Euro 2008 will ask alot of questions of the Italian team...they better have the right players with the talent AND character to answer.
